ProAves has been organizing all the arrangements necessary to establish an agreement providing financial incentives for the conservation of forests. The incentive provides a total land tax exemption on the area of a property dedicated to the conservation of the forests.

This arrangement, established in Jardín, Antioquia, in agreement with the mayor and the Municipal Council, is undoubtedly a tremendous relief for the owners of large forests who were being forced to pay large amounts to maintain these natural resources.
