We have developed community activities in the area of El Pangán Bird Reserve, in order to strengthen links with local people to ensure connectivity between the forests.

In pursuit of other sustainable alternatives, we constructed a community center, or Eco-Center, for training activities, community work, reception of visitors and an eco-shop.

In addition, we have organized several meetings with local communities and authorities, visits, participative environmental assessments and workshops on protected areas. We have also developed actions geared towards environmental awareness and the participation of the local communities in the protection of the natural resources, through workshops and art crafts training.
