On 15 January, the workshop successfully developed Plan for the conservation of threatened parrots of Colombia from 2010 to 2020 which was attended by representatives of 11 organizations and local communities, ornithologists and conservationists.

Threatened Parrot Action Plan being developed

Record-breaking birding tour in Colombia

The first ProAves/EcoTurs "Endemic Bonanza Tour" recorded no less than 42 Colombian endemic birds in just 17 days! That’s over half of all Colombian endemics on a phenomenal birding route across ProAves Bird Reserves. This is the most successful birding tour by number of endemics over such a short period within Colombia.
